Katie Seline - Station Manager
In charge of all the goings on at CJLO, Katie is your girl for all major initiatives and leads the entire CJLO team. She likes the ocean, kittens, loud swirly guitars and has a weakness for really bad television. She dislikes arrogance, Celine Dion, and shepherd's pie. Katie graduated in Communication Studies at Concordia University and completed a Master's degree in Music Business at New York University. Favorite Quote: Make It Work!
Brian Joseph - Program Director & Hip Hop Music Director
Host of Phantastiq Cypha every Friday from 4 to 6 pm, Brian is in charge of all the programming to hit the CJLO airwaves as well as all of the Hip Hop music to come into the station. Brian has been involved in campus radio for over six years. Winner of the 2004/2005 Diego Award for Best On Air Duo or Group and the 2005/2006 BullHorn Diego award for Loudest DJ, Brian's most recent achievement is the College Music Journal (CMJ) Award for Best Specialty Music Director in 2009.
Omar Husain - Head Music Director
Host of Hooked on Sonics, every Tuesday from 6 to 8 pm, Omar makes sure that the best music hits the CJLO airwaves. His favourite actor is Tom Cruise. He also loves Autolux more than life itself. Omar is the recipient of the CMJ award for Music Director of the Year in 2006 and 2008 and for Sexiest Voice (male) in 2006.
Abby Schachter - Volunteer Coordinator
Host of The Reaktor every Friday from 2 to 4 pm, Abby makes sure that CJLO is equipped with the best volunteers and that every department is fuelled with lots of manpower. If you want to get involved, get lots of experience and build up your resume, Abby is your girl. She likes violence and sunshine.
Brian Hastie - Web Content & Magazine Editor
Host of Countdown to Armageddon every Thursday from 4 to 6 pm, Brian takes care of promoting all CJLO activities and shows on the Internet. He is also in charge of putting out the best online magazine the radio world has ever seen. Brian loves LOLcats and Boy Bands.
David Kunstatter - Production Director
Dave is in charge of all recording at CJLO. An Electro-Accoustics major, Dave ensures that everything that gets recorded at CJLO soudns like gold. Whether it be live band recordings, advertisements, or training of production staff, Dave makes sure that everything in the studio runs smoothly. He's also in a bunch of awesome bands.
Nicholas Fiscina - News Director
Nick heads the entire news team, issuing news stories to writers and coordinating news recording and production. Nick is a fourth year Journalism and Political Science major who has very little spare time. We're not really sure what else to write about him since lately he's difficult to hunt down being so busy with school work. One day you'll graduate Nick, and we'll all high five you.
Adrian Warner - RPM Director
Few are more passionate about radio and music than DJ Solespin. Host of Suite Delight on Saturdays from 8 to 10 pm, he is the Diego Award winner for Most Professional DJ and has been featured in the Montreal Mirror and Exclaim Magazine. Never one for safe or predictable selections, he aims to thrill audiences with eclectic musical taste and seeks the same from likeminded DJs. His favorite album is Prince's Sign 'o the Times, his favorite Tom Cruise movie is A Few Good Men, and he likes pepperoni on his pizza.
David Caporicci-Urovitch - Metal Director
Dave is the metal director at CJLO and as such loves all things loud and offensive. Helping out all the metal, hardcore, and various other cross-over shows with content is what he does. Dave loves Tom Cruise perhaps the most of anyone at CJLO. His favorite movie is Mission Impossible II, and he is currently looking forward to a fiery end for all man-kind, as well as the Karate Kid remake movie!
Kelly Belfo - World Music Director
Sugarface Kelly, a.k.a Nene, is also the host of CJLO's longest running world music show Beat The World, Saturdays from 12pm - 2pm. A true music lover of all genres, Kelly comes alive when she is surrounded by good rhythms and positive vibrations. When she is not saving lives as a nurse, she is travelling the world discovering great food and music. Green and blue are her favorite colors and the metal monkey is her Chinese sign and element.
Jason Ferrell - Jazz Director
Host of the Limelight every Saturday from 6 to 8 pm, Jason takes care of all of the Jazz music that gets submitted to CJLO and makes sure that all of the Jazz shows are equipped with the best in Jazz. He loves kittens and ladies.
