Good news at CJLO.
After a seemingly endless period of phone tag and fax hide-and-go-seek, we have some closure. We have made an agreement in principle to lease land in Lachine for the purpose of constructing our antenna. I'm going to be gathering the final information to seal the deal and will be meeting with the landowner and the brokers this week to finalize all the details.
What are the next steps? There's still a lot to do, including getting the construction permit from the city, bringing out transmitter into Montreal, installing a new broadcast board in the booth, and, of course, setting up the big antenna itself. As we progress, I'll keep you up to date with new deadlines, important dates, and things that you can do to help out.
