Two updates for you. First up, it seems that some other company built a rather large tower, in the 200ft range, not to far from our site. We were a little worried for a week, but it turns out the tower is just a relay for cell phones or digital cable or something. It's big enough to make our tower look tiny, but it won't cause a problem. I'll bring in pictures of it when the land dries up and I don't have to wear hip-waders to get through all the mud.
I've received two very positive faxes this week. The first was from Matt, our AM consultant. It's the technical drawings of the tower base, which means that we now have something concrete (no pun intended) to give to potential contractors and the City of Lachine. I placed a few calls yesterday to get some quotes and book time next month to start construction and will be visiting the City next week to get the permit.
The other fax was an Offer to Lease from the real estate broker. It looks pretty straight forward, but our lawyers will have to have a look at it before we agree to anything. The landowner is due back in town next week (vacation), so I hope to have the Offer approved and ready for submission by then.
