 Get ready to get your face ripped off one hundred times as Countdown to Armageddon (or C2A, for those in the know) will be hosting a 100-song grindcore extravaganza on Thursday, August 20th. Featured artists include Napalm Death, Pig Destroyer, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Anal Cunt, Brutal Truth, Graf Orlock, Terrorizer, Trap Them, The Locust, Carcass and dozens more show up and kick ass. Consider yourself adequately warned. Tune in on Thursday from 4 to 6 pm for BAMBAMBAMBAMBAMBARARHARHARHARHARHAR fun.

Yes ladies, gents and other organic beings, it has been a moment since I've dropped any knowledge on any of you. But I plan to make up for this by showcasing some goings on for the month of May:

 • Countdown To Slayer

Mark your calendars for Thursday, May 21st as I run through Slayer's seminal Reign In Blood in its entirety, punctured only by the odd station ID. Get ready for one of the best half-hours of your life, and I'm not talking about that time that girl smiled at you on the bus.

• Brian Loves The Elderly

Brian will be joined in studio on the 14th by his very own mother for a round (or two) of Metal Trivia. If she wins, Brian will play cuts from a playlist she concocted by spending hours on  Youtube. If she loses, though, she shall be subjected to several blasts of extremely volatile grindcore. Will she pull ahead? Will Brian be the victor?

Tune in and find out as two oppositional forces butt heads.

• Computer Mike Gets Interviewed

What happens when machine tries to contact man? Find out during the month of May when Computer Mike will make his sporadic entrance into the radio world, demanding answers from Brian and his random co-guest-hosts as he sees fit. When will he appear? When will he go away? Why does he hate on Dio so much? We shall find that one out.

• The Usual Bullshit

More Ha Ha The 90s! More 1-2 Musical Blasts! More live cuts! Oh the glory! Oh the excitment! Oh the metal, hardcore and everything screamy and delicious. Some bands who are releasing records in the month of May: Hatebreed, Isis, The Black Dahlia Murder, Prong, Warbringer, Khanate, Old Man's Child and more! Thursdays from 4 to 6 pm have just become a whole lot more interesting. And if you don't think so, then perhaps we need to have a frank discussion about your life priorities.
