So, we didn't win the "best hip hop show" award. BUT...

WE GOT THE BEST SPECIALTY SHOW!

This is my "consolation prize" for not landing dates with any of the fine female artists that I've interviewed/met. LOL ...All jokes aside, I did not get into this business to score a date with Christina Chung, Masia, T-Vu, Brooke Taylor, or Jey Flores...really, I didn't! :)

The fact that CJLO allowed me to become a pioneer in what I do is enough of a reward for me.

I've made a lot of friends, in doing so, and rec'ving an award for trying to be a difference-maker is numero uno!

As for the "best hip hop show" honor, we'll catch you next time :)

Shouts to all the artists, bloggers, activists, artist-managers, and contributors who've helped make this show happen.

The show wouldn't be half as good without your assistance. This is why I say that it's OUR award.
