Sales Director: acts as a spokesperson for CJLO and ensure the growth and representation of the CJLO brand while developing and maintaining new advertising strategies and actively working to meet CJLO’s advertising income goals. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, seeking new advertising partners while building contacts and relationships in the Montreal area; informing potential advertisers of advertising rates and packages and ensuring proper follow up;administering and actioning all sales contracts & invoices and follow up on payments.
Hours: 400
Pay: $11.50/h
Work Study: You must be a Quebec resident that has applied for Quebec student aid for the 11/12 terms.
Internships

Equipment & Archival Internship: Ensure the proper working and maintenance of all DJ booth and studio equipment. File maintenance reports in the case of damaged equipment or equipment in need of tuning. They will manage equipment for live remote broadcasts. do minor repairs and maitenance, library up-keep; management and coordination of special projects; maintaining and developing music department databases; conducting weekly library orientations and database sessions for new volunteers to the station.
Assets: equipment knowledge, good technical skills and basic knowledge of set up; excellent knowledge of equipment use and workings; good listening skills; basic knowledge of recording equipment and software; archival knowledge
Information Technology (IT) Internship: Maintenance, repair and installation of desktop computers; montior network and systems; general knowledge of HTML; general knowledge of drupal systems.
This internship can be catered to specfic portfolio projects (app development, etc).
