Monday January 24th 2011, "With Gay Abandon" will be featuring a session with Montréal-based solo drone artist Les Beyond. Listen in from 2-4 right here on CJLO 1690 AM www.cjlo.com

While Les Beyond initially began in late 2007 as a solo outlet for her softer-side, the then-guitarist of Shearing Pinx, Erin Ward, soon found that what began as just bedroom antics over time has solidified into a hypnotic and transfixing soulscape. Using seemingly simple tools, she subtly and deftly takes the audiences to private places with her trance-inducing guitar drones, covering full spectrums and invoking dark paradises.
