The Strone
today on beautiful music for ugly children, we are glad to present the strone, a band from the canadian post-punk underground. their UNRELEASED material has not been heard since 1978. the sound is extremely polished, taken directly from the original recording reels. the overall feeling manages to remain actual & hard-hitting after all of these years. 28 years later, the ugly children (dj's nassu & axiene) are presenting their work for the public to finally enjoy. tune in monday to hear a few of their songs, & a live interview with the original members of the band!

Legendary Pink Dots

The show was incredible and surpassed my expectations! Admittedly, I am not very familiar with all their releases. Then again, who is with their massive discography of 25 years? Briefly, the Pink Dots commanded the crowd’s attention, mine included, as the gig slowly picked up from a slow boil to its climax with Hellsville, where everyone suddenly burst into a frenzy of dance and shrieks. The closing track, Isis Veiled by The Tear Garden, left me pleasantly dazed & gob smacked with a nasty itch for more. To those who were not there, you seriously missed out.... So, tune in today for a more complete review & extras! Plus, I hear that Pierrre is cooking up a Canadian set of oddities for your listening pleasure.
