Turn Down the Suck

Heavy-ass rock, bad-ass metal, & kick-ass hardcore.
"Want to let me do a show? ... I promise that I'll try not to suck - or at least I'll try to try". And with those words Turn Down the Suck was born. In the many, many weeks since Feb 14th, 2005, Turn Down The Suck has:
-Had a ridiculous number of Special Editions, Extend-o Editions, Suck Sessions, Retrospectives, Spectaculars, and Extravaganzas.
-Had a whole bunch of awesome co-hosts.
-Interviewed Terry & Dean, Dutch Oven, 3 Inches of Blood, Municipal Waste, Toxic Holocaust, Exodus, Barn Burner, Dopethrone, Downtrodden, Hands of Death, Les Ekorches, and more!
-Been on four different days of the week and has had six different time slots.
-Won the 2009 Diego Award for Best Show Name and the 2010 Diego Award for Best Metal Show.
-Played an ass-load of kick-ass music.

So, as it turns out, Mother Nature hates Turn Down The Suck. Once again, CJLO has been taken off-air by power outages caused by extreme weather. So for the 2nd week in a row, your favourite Wednesday night non-CISM metal show is cancelled!
The Oct 20th edition of Turn Down The Suck won't be happening. In it's place DJ Catatonia will be speading sonic corruption. You've been warned....
Tune into Turn Dow The Suck this Wednesday (9-11pm) for the biggest interview in the history of the show! Terry Cahill & Dean Murdoch!! You may recognize them as the voices behind the show's intro, or as the coiners of the phase 'turn down the suck', or maybe just as the stars of Fubar & Fubar 2 Either way, interviewing the pair was one of the few goals (and by 'few' we mean 'one') Johnny Suck set for himself when Turn Down The Suck began.
Anyway, tune in to hear the answer to all of the questions that have been waiting 5 years to be asked, like 'Hi,...
For the next few weeks, Turn Down The Suck will be hosted by ex-Umlauts & Powerchords host, ex-No Sleep 'Til Bedtime host, ex-Metal For Supper host, ex-CJLO program director, Diego Award winner, & CJLO Hall of Famer Alex Robot!!

And don't worry about Johnny Suck, he's not actually dead, just on vacation. He'll be back in the saddle, well tanned and ready to rock on April 14th...
