Rebecca is crazy passionate about rock music. Sharing that passion is what brought her to cjlo!

She started out in 2007 as the host of the Chart Show. Then in September 0f 2010, she created the Canucks Kick It show to showcase the amazing talent here in Canada.

And now... she has expanded her repertoire, by including music from all over the globe, with a main focus on what is going down in Britain, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and right here in Canada. The new show started in September of 2011 and it is called 'The Commonwealth Conundrum'

The time and place have not changed. So if you want a good dose of rock from places that don't include our neighbour to the south... come check it out, every Wednesday from 5-6pm!

Oh... and who is she really... Wacky! Passionate! LOUD! And fun!

April 18th saw the Commonwealth Conundrum show extended another hour bringing new and retro music from all over the Commonwealth.Also, more importantly, Brit and DJ extraordinaire Danny Payne joined Rebecca Munroe as co-host of the show.Danny hails from Brighton, England and brings phenomenal British music to the show. This podcast features an interview with Arni (bass player) from the VACCINES, taking time out from his hotel room in Sao Paulo, Brazil.  You'll want to hear this brilliant chat!

It was a “can of sardines” scene at Metropolis on February 10th, with a definite feeling of love for a hometown boy that was about to reciprocate it with a musical force.

As the Sam Roberts Band took the stage at Metropolis they proved they were thrilled to be home. In no way was it a relief feeling, as it was only last summer that they played Osheaga. It was more a like a joyful family...
