Nneka "My Home" new single 2012

Check out “My Home", the first single from Nneka’s next solo offering, Soul Is Heavy. AIR Element Mix inspired for Pasa Musik Montreal Tour!

I had such a great time djing for the EARTH NIGHT Pasa Musik Mtl Tour with Eh Dave! & Kebeko that I was inspired to make an AIR element mix for the upcoming WIND NIGHT this Saturday, Nov 26th at Café l'Artère 7000 avenue du Parc (Montreal) with KEBEKO & JjANICE!!

Basically I made this mix on the spot (after 4 attempts). It incorporates all things that remind me of AIR: vocals, breath, horns, flutes, and guitar. Guitar? You ask. To me there is something about the guitar that has a feeling of flying. Maybe it's the desert wind that pulls the light-weight guitar chords across the Sahara.

In this mix we travel to India, South Africa x2, Thailand, Mali, Belgium, Haiti, South Africa, Mozambique, and Cuba respectively.
