CJLO - A Unique Sound in Montreal

CJLO is not only Concordia University’s campus radio station, but the only English language radio station in Montreal that offers independent and underground music programming. We support local and Canadian artists and host a viariety of music shows, ranging from rock to electronic to world beat to hip hop. You can hear us live on the air at 1690 AM* on a signal that reaches the entirety of Montreal, Laval, and Brossard.

From the Concordia student body alone, we have 30,000 built-in listeners, as well as the 18-30 year olds in Montreal that are unsatisfied with the lack of variety presented by other commercial radio stations in the area. Our website (cjlo.com) boasts over 2000 visits and 7500 page views every day, with readership increasing by the month. Visitors include not only students from Concordia University but music lovers from all over the world.

CJLO is a power in the North American college music scene and has won numerous awards for music direction and station quality. CJLO offers a unique sound that has won the hearts, and ears, of many diverse people.
