The Concordia Student Broadcasting Corporation is an umbrella organization that oversees the governance of CJLO 1690AM, Concordia University Radio.
The Directors
Me. Patrice Blais / Faculty Seat Patrice has been involved with CJLO since his student years in 2001. He has been serving on the Board in various roles initially as a student representative and now as a faculty representative. He is a practicing lawyer since 2006 and a faculty member at Concordia since 2009. He is teaching business law in JMSB and not for profit organizations law in the Political Science department. His priorities are establishing good governance practices and the long term financial planning of CJLO. Term ending: 2027
Alex Viger-Collins / CJLO Seat Alex hosts the modern pop-oriented show Ashes to Ashes on CJLO 1690AM. A mainstay on the station's schedule since 2015, the show has been voted five times as one of Montreal's best radio shows in Cult MTL's annual reader's poll. Alex has done over 100 interviews with local and international artists alike, and has shared his skills in multiple interviewing workshops for the station. He contributes to CJLO in numerous ways, including DJing at events, writing pieces for the station's online magazine, and training the next wave of aspiring radio hosts. Term ending: 2027
Angelica Calcagnile / CJLO Student Seat Angelica has been a member of CJLO 1690AM since 2001, and has contributed to the station in many capacities. Her background is in design and marketing, and her focus on the board is accountability to students, fiscal responsibility, and sustainability with regards to CJLO's future growth in the local community and beyond. Term ending: 2026
Alexandrah Cardona / Student Seat Alexandrah is a second-year undergraduate student at Concordia experienced in a broad range of community initiatives and student life projects. She is the 2023-2024 Academic & Advocacy Coordinator for the Concordia Student Union and was previously an executive of the Dawson Student Union for two years during which she oversaw funding for various student-run media or art publications and recreational events. Term ending: 2026
Donald Roberge / CJLO Seat Donald is an undergraduate student in Film and Moving Image Studies at Concordia University. Since 2022, he has been an active volunteer at CJLO, contributing news reports, writing reviews, and producing station advertisements. He is also the host of Eastern Promises, a radio show dedicated to showcasing music from Atlantic Canada. With a diverse professional background, Donald has held roles in sales, publishing, healthcare, and the non-profit sector. A passionate advocate for arts and culture, he currently oversees a local film club in his hometown.Term ending: 2026
