We play lots of new indie rock, from sunny pop music, to grinding noise, to country crooning, to ambient textures, with a generous dose of 60s psychedelica and the occasional 80s, 90s and sometimes 50s, 70s, 40s, and maybe even 30s track carefully selected for good measure.

We've been without news for a while now, but rrrest assured, we're still here pretty much every week. Susannah has decided to depart our fair seas, and her position has been taken over by former interim/sometimes guest DJ Cory "Cap'n Pegleg". This week, November 1st, we'll have the return of a very special guest DJ, Richard "Doubloon Swallowin'" White, guitariste extraordinaire of local sensations The Besnarrrrd Lakes. He'll play some records and talk to us about his band, their extensive touring, and his disdain for shitty guitars.

Yes that is right, Rock the Plank had their first interview with Arab Strap’s lead man Aidan Moffat. Erin and Susannah enlighten Aidan of Montreal’s delicacy Poutine and talk about the Glasgow scene as well as what's in Aidan’s CD player and his family tartan.
