 Forefather of the Month: The Dropkick Murphys A new month means its time we here at The Kids Are So-So pay homage to a new punk and hardcore legend. Now, since October means the Major League Baseball World Series and since we here at The Kids Are So-So openly endorse the Boston Red Sox, it's only fitting that October's Forefather of the Month is none other than Boston's favorite drunken Irishmen (besides Dennis Leary), The Dropkick Murphys.

 Forefather of the Month - Sick of It All As we begin our fourth season here on The Kids Are So-So we're implementing a new feature that I'd like to call The Kids Are So-So Forefather (or Mother) of the Month wherein we'll honor a new punk and hardcore legend each month.
This month for the inaugural spot we've chosen New York Hardcore Godfathers Sick of It All. Tune into The Kids Are So-So this September as we honor and pay lip service to these fine gentlemen as only D-Jay So-So can. |

 Happy New Year From The Kids In case you haven't figured it out yet, D-Jay So-So has returned to the woods of New Hampshire to visit the pack of wolves who raised him for the holidays and Stabby Abby has embarked on her epic journey to resurrect River Phoenix. Thus The Kids are on hiatus. Don't cry though, we'll be back on January 8th with the same mediocre happenings you've come to know and love (this time with considerably more insanity.) So in the meantime have a safe and happy new year and we'll see you on the other side.

 NEW CO-HOST!? (yeah I didn't see it coming either) yes, it is true. It's been nearly a year and a half since Boston Rob disappeared for parts unknown and I've finally decided to replace his ass. Recently returned from her world-wide trek to find a cure for emo, the lovely and mysterious Abby has signed on to fill the vacant co-host seat on The Kids (God help us all.) You can hear her bickering with D-Jay So-So every week at the usual time (that's two to four in the PM on Tuesday for all you non-believers.)
In conclusion: Botch is a really REALLY good band. Rock On. -J- |

Hey...It's Summer Around this time last year I found myself posting the "we're gonna be gone for the summer" post. However, due to the fact that I've officially begun my life as a starving artist and have turned down paying work back home to work for free at CJLO, such a post will NOT be happening this year (until of course I inevitably run out of money and have to crawl back to my former employers and lick boot...there is a very high possibility of this occurring.)However, until such point, the Kids Are So-So will trudge on into the summer months with all the regular tunage that has made us sorta listenable but still not that great since the beginning.
