Well... umm... i can tell you there won't be much talking while I'm playing. And I'll likely be playing hip hop, funk, disco, break, house, electro, drum and bass, grime, dubstep, reggae, world beats, jazz, and sample sources.

I also like to DJ in clubs and whatnot, so there'll be some transference of the vibe, but only some.

The Future

Hello! So yesterday was my second show - a bit disjointed, but progress continues. This is a quick post to say thank you to Sase One for providing a nice mix to listen to (a snippet of which was played yesterday - go check him out live if you need to see more - http://www.myspace.com/saseone). There will be other live DJs who are down with everything from funk to hip hop to various electronic genres coming in, so look forward to that. I'm also in the process of tracking down the promo people here at CJLO (they're notoriously wiley) so that we can start trying to set off a monthly CJLO hip hop jam at a venue in the city, so keep your ears to the ground for that. Also, look out for a little more soul and jazz in the near future - explorations of original sample sources from which hip hop and electronic music emerged. And last, but not least, there will be more exclusive beatscare of moi et FUNK pour vous, so enjoy motherlickers!
