Well then you're in for a tasty treat this month: over the next few weeks the Incomparable Johnny Suck will be taking over The Almighty Riff (Sundays 6-8pm) on May 4th, May 11th, May 18th, and BVST (Wednesdays 7-9pm) on May 14th. That means you'll be getting no less than 16 hours of Suck in May!

Last week Turn Down The Suck made it's 2-hour Sunday debut with it's Top Albums of 2007 Countdown. Now this week, January 13th, The Suck continues with it's Top Songs (That Weren't On The Top Albums) Of 2007 Countdown! Look forward to hearing stuff like Weedeater, Earthless, Middian, The Warriors, and of course High on Fire!!

Say hello to a slimmer, trimmer, and resultingly healthier Turn Down The Suck. Due to severe case of selling-out, the first hour of the show had to be amputated. Doctors tried everything they could to save the full show, but, in the end, The Man was too strong and half of the show had to be sacrificed to save the rest...
Don't worry though, because the full spirit of The Suck lives on in the surviving half, resulting in a concentrated, more intense, and ultimately superior listening experience.

This past Friday, Johnny had an chance to speak with Quebec hardcore legend Marc Vaillancourt about his new band Les Ékorchés. Tune into CJLO this Thursday, March 8th, at 6:00pm to hear the interview. The forming of the band (which features members of Ghoulunatics and Voivod), their new record, tour plans, the (unlikely) possibility of another BARF reunion, and the upcoming provinicial elections are just a few of things talked about. It turned out to be a good one, so don't miss it. And, a slew of tracks from Les Ékorchés' new debut album will be featured.

Unfortunately, there won't be a new edition of The Suck next week (Dec 25th), Christmas got in the way. But if you're looking to drive away relatives that you don't love and drown out the crap that plagues radio and public spaces this time of year, you can still tune into a Classic edition of Turn Down The Suck. Same ol' time, same ol' station, same ol' kickass music...

New Year's Day Also falls on a Monday, but we're not as bitter about it - it's actually a decent holiday (my grandma makes this super-amazing soup, that she only makes the one time a year...).

So anyway, Turn Down the Suck will make it's triumphant return on Jan 8th. And, since I give gifts all year round instead of on just one day, you'll be getting yet another Satanafied edition of The Suck!
