 The Abdication After a solid 2 year sprint its finally time for The Reign to shut things down at CJLO. As I make the move out of this wonderful city, on to other places and priorities, we close things up with one final show this Tuesday September 2. Thank you to everyone that helped out with the show. Definitely a big thanks to each and every guest that was on The Reign and for all the artists that keep making music every week for us to play. And a special big thanks to Montreal's Biggest Hater Kenza for making regular appearances. I'm out for now, but not gone for good. |

 Montreal's Best Comes to Reign Having been voted Best Hip Hop Act in The Mirror's Best of Montreal, M.O. from FAMN will be coming through the show Wednesday Dec 5. He just got back from Atlanta for the 2007 Hip Hop Billboard Conference Awards and I'll be finding out how the whole experience went. The last time I was in Atlanta it wasn't so pleasant but from what I've heard so far it was the opposite for M.O. I'll also find out what kind of opportunities arose and where we can expect to see these guys next. http://www.famn.ca

 Rep The Region: Arabesque He could possibly have one of the hardest names to spell in hip hop. Arabesque, born in Toronto, will be on The Reign for the final portion of the Rep the Region series for 2007. He’s about to drop an album hosted by RahDigga called “Hang your Heroes” and his videos have been featured on MuchMusic and MTV.  Rep The Region: D.O. Moving around Canada and having lived in a lot of different areas before finally settling in Toronto, D.O. reps the region to the fullest. D.O. is however best known for breaking the Guinness World Record in 2003 for the Worlds Longest Freestyle (8hours and 45min). He constantly shouts out our provinces and cities on his tracks and dropped his album The Northstarr this year. D.O. will be on The Reign Wednesday November 21 between 12-2pm EST to Rep The Region hard.

 A Houston Halloween Producing for U.G.K., Scarface and Talib Kweli, just to name a few, Cory Mo is definitely respected as a big producer in the game. He's got a huge underground fan base and also owns and runs one of the most respected studios in the south M.A.D. Studios. Make sure you got that Money At the Door. Having just been in mtl for a show with Bun B during Pop Montreal, Cory Mo will be on The Reign Thursday October 31 for a special Houston Halloween edition.

 Short Hiatus Hana will be taking a short 2 week hiatus from The Reign. A girls got to get her Europe vacation on. It's not going to be all games and fun though. Hana will be peeping all the new clothes, shoes, accessories and lines featured in Bread and Butter clothing convention Barcelona. Described as Europe's version of North America's Magic Clothing convention (think vegas) you never know who will be in and who Hana will get a chance to interview to bring back to The Reign. Surprise classic The Reign shows will be played while Hana is gone. More music, interviews, bangers, heat, gossip for the comeback show July 18th with possible special guest in appearance.  Papoose does MTL Papoose will be calling The Reign this Wednesday June 20 between 1pm-3pm. Papoose is an upcoming rapper with a huge reputation for being new york's saviour.
