Couillard challenges Marois to release financial documents

Philippe Couillard, leader of the Quebec Liberal Party, challenged Premier Pauline Marois to release her financial records.

Couillard has pledged to post his own documents online this week.

He challenged the rest of the Province's leaders to do the same.

Marois, leader of the Parti Quebecois, refused to publish her records and accused Couillard of trying to distract voters.

The Liberal leader told reporters that he just wants the new leader of Quebec to be transparent and trustworthy.

Quebec Solidaire's Francoise David agreed to publish her own records if the rest of the leaders did.
