Dabchy responds to Pudwell's accusations

Morgan Pudwell’s resignation letter has caused quite the controversy. The former Vice-President Sustainability and Promotions of the Concordia Student Union reveals her opinion about certain issues.

One issue she brings up is former President Amine Dabchy’s strong alliances. Pudwell says that he is still heavily involved in the decisions made by the Executive. She also says that Dabchy has kept his own key to the CSU office and has the ability to call executive meetings.

Dabchy found it important to address some of these comments himself. In an official statement, he mentions being the current President of CusaCorp. Due to this, he has obligations concerning the management of the Reggie’s and Java U space. He says that his new role makes it essential to work closely with CSU executives. Dabchy also makes no apologies for maintaining working relationships and friendships with the councilors, executives and involved students.

The CSU also released a letter clarifying the situation. President Heather Lucas says Dabchy has a key because of his involvement with CusaCorp. Lucas concludes by saying he is a student representative on BoG and provides feedback for their governance review package.
