A SNEAK PEEK OF FRINGY-GOODIES

With over 700 performances from over 200 artistic groups from here at home and out of the city, choosing a show to watch can be a difficult ordeal.

To help you out, we opened the doors and phone lines to fellow Fringe performers as they invite you to check out what they have to offer - on the May 27th Special Edition of Champions of The Local Scene (Wednesdays, 6 – 7pm). We had Al Lafrance, CJLO's own Rebecca Munroe, Jacob Greco, Alyson Leah, M the Record Keeper, Jon Malanos, Davyn Ryall, and much more! As a bonus, we also spoke to 2015 festival Spokesperson Mado Lamotte, as she looks back on 15 years of Fringe’s widely anticipated annual Drag Race!

And be sure to check out Don't Mess This Up, Jacob (Thursdays, 1 – 2pm), Best of The West (Thursdays, 2 – 3pm), The Commonwealth Conundrum (Fridays, 4 – 6pm), and Shibuya Crossing (Wednesdays, 2 – 4pm)  for extended Fringe coverage and more!

Wednesday, June 10 (from 4 - 6pm) there will be a special edition of The Commonwealth Conundrum live from the Fringe Beer Tent! Host Rebecca Munroe (CJLO's own Fringe Queen) will do her annual live broadcast- talking to 13 Fringe artists/ companies about their shows! Tune in to get the official CJLO Fringe Scoop!

AN INTIMATE CONVERSATION WITH THE FRINGE MAKERS, MOVERS, AND SHAKERS.

Ever wonder what is all the commotion and excitement for the lovely number 25? Look no further because we have your questions answered on the May 27th Special Edition of Champions of The Local Scene (Wednesdays, 6 – 7pm).

We spoke to Executive & Artistic Director Amy Blackmore, General Manager Geoff Agombar, and Associate Producer Cameron McKinnon as they collectively reflect on Montreal's reputation as a sacred incubator for the arts, explore the spontaneity of the creative process manifested from the script to the stage; and even learn about Fringe’s humble yet intimate beginnings - including Fringe's connection to Concordia University.

GOOD SOUNDS. GOOD TUNES. GOOD VIBES. GOOD TIMES.

As part of this year’s Indie Montreal's Fringe Music Series all happening at Le Divan Orange throughout the festival, Joana Cumo of Je Suis TBA (Mondays, 9 – 10pm) and Charts and Crafts (Fridays, 2 – 3pm) was recently in conversation with Montreal-based electronic producer, composer and vocalist extraordinaire A Pigeon, and Indie Montreal Founding Director Jon Weisz on the June 3rd Special Edition of Champions of The Local Scene (Wednesdays, 6 – 7pm).

Speaking of Fringe Music, mark your calendars! CJLO is pleased to present CJLO Fringe Tunes at the Beer Tent, June 19! The day will start at 4pm and the line-up will feature Towanda, No Aloha, Heathers, Kurvi Tasch, Archery Guild, and Fragile Feet. CJLO will be live broadcasting Friday programs such as The Commonwealth Conundrum, The Go-Go Magic Radio Show, and Yeti Dreams. Come have a pint and listen to our shows live under the sun & stars... OR tune in from home! Follow the facebook event for updates
