Poor global access to vaccine could create risk with Covid-19 variant

A lack of vaccines in developing countries could serve the spread of the COVID-19 Delta variant worldwide.

That’s according to financial leaders of the world’s 20 largest economies, who in recent days, attended the first in-person meeting since the pandemic began.

The group echoed a recommendation of 50 billion dollars from several of the world’s most powerful financial organizations to ensure increased access.
