Two men have been arrested  for robbing four synagogues in Montreal.

CTV News reported that Frederic Carreras and Simon Shikman appeared in court on Friday and were charged with breaking and entering along with several other charges.

The arrests were made after security camera footage from one of the break-ins was posted on Facebook.

More than 1600 wasps have been released in Ontario and Quebec to control the population of emerald ash borers.

According to CBC News, The Canadian Forest Service released these parasitic wasps in an attempt to protect ash trees all over the two provinces.

Tens of thousands of wasps have been released since 2013 in Canada’s continuous effort to eradicate the emerald ash borer population.

Torrential rain has caused severe flooding in Central Vietnam.

According to BBC News, 21 people have died, tens of thousands of homes have been submerged and important livestock have been washed away by the flooding.

The flooding was worsened by Typhoon Sarika and the inexplicable release of water from Vietnam’s hydropower plants.
