Toronto police have charged the frontman of rock band Hedley with three sexual offences involving two women.

According to CTV News, police say Jacob Hoggard was arrested on Monday and is scheduled to appear in a Toronto courtroom on Thursday.

He is charged with one count of sexual interference and two counts of sexual assault causing bodily harm.

Online accusations began surfacing earlier this year suggesting inappropriate encounters with young fans.

More than 20 people have died and hundreds of others are missing after the collapse of a dam in Laos.

According to BBC News, the damaged hydroelectric dam sent flash floods through six villages.

More than 6,600 people have lost their homes and officials are rescuing villagers by boat.

According to BBC News, wildfires destroyed the seaside village of Mati, trapping dozens of people in their homes and cars.

Authorities are seeking international assistance as hundreds of firefighters battle the blazes.
