A Montréal Woman was denied entry into the United States on Sunday, contributing to the ongoing criticism surrounding the country’s so-called ‘Muslim-ban’.

According to CTV News, Manpreet Krooner was told that she could not enter the United States and would need to apply for a visa, despite being a Canadian citizen and having no criminal record.

Krooner’s two white travel companions, were not questioned by border officials.

Ontario police officer Daniel Montsion has been charged with manslaughter, aggravated assault and assault with a weapon for his involvement in the death of Abdirahman Abdi in 2016.

According to CTV News, Abdi's death led to countless protests about police brutality and racism in Ottawa.

Montsion was charged by Ontario's Special Investigations Unit on Monday and will make his first court appearance later this month.

A rhino was killed by poachers at a French zoo on Tuesday.

According to BBC News, this is the first time such a crime has ever taken place in Europe.

The poachers had succeeded in hacking off one of the rhino's horn to sell on the black market, which has led to the killing of more than 100 wild African rhinos every month.
