Salvation From Sin On-Air Fundraiser For Japan

On Friday afternoon of March 11th, 2011, the eastern coast of Japan was rocked by a 9.0 magnitude earthquake, which also ignited a monstrous tsunami that hit the shores soon after. The world needs to come together now, more than ever. Our Japanese brothers and sisters need our help and generosity.

Brennan Richer

When Brennan Richer came to CJLO, the station was a very different place. Some DJs hosted for themselves, using the air time as an outlet to express themselves. Others hosted for their community, as a means to promote the culture of their musical taste. Lastly some hosted with all that and more in mind. Not only to promote their show, their genre but for everyone. Brennan Richer has always been one of those DJs and has paved the way for a generation of DJs who approach their shows in that manner. As the host of The Almighty Riff, he has been a staple of the Sunday line and has been a key to building its popularity.

Cold War Kids + The Balconies @ Le Theatre Corona

Montreal is known for a lot of things: poutine, riots, gorgeous people, riots, a vibrant nightlife, riots, riots, riots. What it is not known for, however, is quiet, limp, lethargic concert crowds. Sit down, Cold War Kids fans, because you will most likely not enjoy this review.
