Every friday of October, CJLO 1690AM and Le Bleury - Bar à Vinyle (2109 rue de Bleury), will be hosting its weekly 5 à 7.

Come down and join the CJLO crew as every weeks DJS from the station will be spinning the finest electronic music, house, UK funky and bass tracks, all on vinyl. Plus they'll be adding a selection inspired by their own show, Hip Hop, jazz or world music.

The relationship between CJLO & Salvation From Sin is coming to an amicable end, although SFS will continue running elsewhere. The final show #187 will air on Friday October 4, 2013 on Montreal's CJLO 1690 (www.cjlo.com for a LIVE stream). This special closing show will be a marathon, extended version, from the usual starting time at midnight until 8:30am. That's right: 8.5 hours of non-stop mixing. I will provide for you, my faithful listener, an epic mix. Tune in for one last time on CJLO! 


CJLO 1690am Presents: The Radiometres Artist Outreach Showcase

This Saturday, September 21st, join CJLO at L'Esco (4467 rue St Denis) to celebrate the end of their Artist Outreach Project! Funded by the Community Radio fund of Canada, the Artist Outreach Project is a culmination of 10 months of work with local Montreal artists who have recorded quality EPs with CJLO with goal of diffusing the final products on the community radio airwaves. 5 Local Artists will be playing at L'Esco to showcase the best of the project:

This semester, CJLO welcomes an awesome array of brand new programming to the 1690AM radio family.

You can hear the fine selections of a classical connoisseur on Wagner's Beard (Friday, 1:00 - 2:00pm.) Those with heavier tastes will appreciate Sublime State of Doom, which features the most brutal doom and grindcore (Monday, 8:00 - 9:00pm.) Meanwhile, Play & Pleasure explores sex and sexuality from an open and inclusive perspective (Tuesday, 8:00 - 9:00pm.)
