Two suspects were arrested for the first-degree murder of Charles Robitaille.

According to CTV News, Robitaille was stabbed early on Monday morning and died of his injuries at the hospital.

This is Montreal’s 17th murder of 2016.

Climate change activists disrupted the flow of crude oil from Canada to the United States on Tuesday.

Reuters reported that activists in four different states were arrested for trespassing and cutting off the flow of nearly 15% of the U.S’s daily oil consumption.

Climate Direct Action staged this protest to support the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, who have been protesting the construction of a $3.7 billion pipeline that risks damaging their sacred land and water supplies.

Poisonous mushrooms are appearing all over Victoria and Vancouver in British Columbia.

According the CBC News, these mushrooms are the “death cap mushroom” and are considered to be the deadliest mushroom in the world and are responsible for 90% of mushroom-related deaths.

At least 3 people have been hospitalised for eating these mushrooms in B.C.

Lawmakers in El Salvador are considering the possibility of relaxing their abortion laws.

According to BBC News, a new bill may allow abortion in cases of sexual assault or when the mother’s life is at risk.

Under the current law in El Salvador, anyone who is found guilty of having an abortion can be sentenced to eight years in prison.
