Chinatown’s famous Robillard Building was destroyed by a fire on Thursday morning.

According to CBC News, the building had housed Canada’s first movie theater and was in a state of disrepair after years of neglect.

No officials have commented on the source of the fire.

Police in Vancouver have arrested a 46 year old man for stealing baby formula and selling it to China.

According to CTV News, the suspect had stolen $100,000 worth of baby formula.

These thefts account for 70% of all of the stolen baby formula in Metro Vancouver.
 

INTERNATIONAL

Sergio Lozano, the former mayor of the Mexican state of Coahuila, was arrested on Thursday for his involvement in one of the worst massacres committed by the Zetas cartel.

According to Reuters, Lozano was arrested on kidnapping charges and allegedly played a role in the deaths of more than 300 people.

A government report stated that gang members and municipal police abducted the residents of Allende and that it was impossible for Lozano to have been unaware of their actions.
