This Sunday, Chris Jericho appears on the Main Event. The professional wrestler, former world champion, rock star, and actor will be discussing his new book Undisputed (already a New York Times Bestseller), as well as the status of his wrestling career. He'll also discuss advice for TNA, throwing tobacco spit in the Rock's face, his matches with Chris Benoit being buried in history, his band Fozzy, and more.

The year is 2004, the location, Empire Polo Fields in Indio, California. A young Michael Bresciani is leaving the Coachella Festival after having seen the Flaming Lips, Radiohead, the Cure and the recently reunited Pixies. If that musical experience wasn’t enough, Michael was also working at the HMV Megastore in the heart of Montreal and exploring new music.

Souled Out Sundays

CJLO DJs Sassafras and Sarsaparilla host Souled Out Sunday every 2nd Sunday of the month (Feb. 13th, Mar. 13th, April 10th, etc.) from 10pm - 3am at Casa Del Popolo (4873 Blvd. St-Laurent).

CJLO 2nd Annual Battle of the Bands

CJLO is gearing up for its 2nd Annual Battle of the Bands! The competition is open to any band with at least one member who is a currently a Concordia Student.

To submit your band send the following to battle@cjlo.com :

- 2 band photos
- a band bio (250 word max)
- 1 mp3 demo
- list of influences

The competition will take place Mar. 17th at F.C. Smith Auditorium

The Grand Prize:
- a 3 song EP recorded and produced at CJLO
- a guest spot on a CJLO show
- a CJLO website feature
- plus more TBA

Yes, the tickets were pretty damn expensive (35$). Yes, it was cold as hell… and yes, I nearly destroyed a defective parking meter outside the Olympia theatre. If you saw me swearing and kicking machine #Q045, please don’t think any less of me; I was having a “case of the Mondays”.
