Established and managed by Steve Tanaka since 2010, this completely DIY tour invites Canadians to discover a unique Japanese music experience like no other. Steve explores and scavenges Tokyo's live houses, concert halls, and bars to find the best undiscovered indie talent, curates the best acts, and invites them to perform to eager and curious Canadians.

CJLO is stoked to co-present with Champagne Productions Royce Da 5'9 with Doug Crawford, Jonathan Emile, Red Rum Records and DJ Nerve tonight at Le Belmont!

Tune in this Friday at 6pm to The Go-Go Radio Magic Show when Prince Palu will be joined in the first hour (via phone) by Stu Mackenzie of the Australian psych band King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, to talk about their most recent album, Nonagon Infinity, and their upcoming show, sold out at Bar le Ritz PDB on May 11. 

Get yer ears ready, because Preston Ward of Wild Wolf Productions will be co-hosting this week's episode of Psychic City, Wednesday (Tomorrow!) at 11am!

It's the end of another academic year, and that means: THE DIEGO AWARDS!

Named after a volunteer who sadly left the station to pursue their dreams (we miss you, Diego Ferro!), the CJLO Diegos is an annual awards ceremony created to celebrate a year of hard work and quality programming that our amazing DJs and Volunteers put into CJLO day after day. So let's celebrate their dedication and tireless effort in making CJLO 1690 AM a quality radio station, and also celebrate independent media and community radio at large.

Moogfest takes place May 19-22 in Durham, North Carolina and CJLO will be there! Julie from BTBR will be on the ground, bringing us a taste of the eccleticism of Moogfest! Founded in 2004, Moogfest is a tribute to Dr. Robert Moog, pioneer and innovator/ inventor of the infamous synthesizer that bears his name.
